The Big Six
There's six big projects in London at the moment at various stages of approval from being under construction to still being on the drawing board, but all of these are putting the capital firmly on the international skyscraper map with an enormous building spree.

1) Swiss RE Tower - Norman Fosters masterful design which is one of the most revolutionary buildings in the world. This skyscraper brings futurism to the City of London.
2) Heron Tower - A watershed in planning for the City of London that if approved will open the floodgates for a skyscraper spree.
3) Minerva - At 712ft tall it's set to be the tallest building in the City of London and to dominate the skyline.
4) Paddington Basin - A run down area of Paddington earmarked for a massive rival with two skyscrapers including a Rogers design as the centerpiece.
5) London Bridge Tower - With numerous design changes developer Irvine Sellar plans the largest tower in Europe in Southwark at over 1000feet.
6) Canary Wharf - The world's largest commercial project, a piece of east coast America that's rapidly becoming London's premiere area for high-rise development.
